| 23.06.03 Hapag-Lloyd Container Line has obtained ISO 9001 (quality) and 14001 (environment) certification through Germanischer Lloyd. It is one of the first transport companies to have all activities along the global transport chain – from consignor to consignee – covered. ISO 14001 includes greater use of environment-friendly means of transport, avoiding transport of empty containers and deployment of a modern fleet with low fuel consumption to reduce emissions. The focus in the quality management area is on e-business. |
