 29.12.05   CP Ships CEO Ray Miles and CFO Ian Webber to Step Down As Executive Management is Restructured 
Following the completion of the acquisition by TUI AG of CP Ships and its de-listing on 20th December from the Toronto and New York stock exchanges, CEO Ray Miles will step down from his position on 31st December 2005. CFO Ian Webber will leave CP Ships at the end of January 2006.

CP Ships has finalized plans for the most comprehensive and competitive choice of services available linking Australia and New Zealand with Europe, South East Asia, West Asia and North America.

 21.12.05   CP Ships Completes Amalgamation Resulting in TUI Owning 100% of CP Ships 
CP Ships Limited today announced that it has completed its previously-announced amalgamation with Ship Acquisition Inc. As a result of the amalgamation, TUI AG owns 100% of the common shares of CP Ships. Holders of common shares of CP Ships immediately prior to the amalgamation, other than Ship Acquisition Inc, received one redeemable special share of CP Ships (the amalgamated corporation) per common share held.

 17.11.05   CP Ships and Hapag-Lloyd Announce New Weekly Australasian Service 
CP Ships and Hapag-Lloyd announced today that in February 2006 they plan to launch a new Australasian joint service linking Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, the Mediterranean and North Europe via the Suez Canal.

CP Ships Limited today welcomed into service the first of nine 4250 teu containerships ordered two years ago.

 19.10.05   Update on Successful TUI Offer For CP Ships 
TUI AG and CP Ships Limited jointly announced today that shareholders holding 84,095,325 CP Ships common shares, representing 89.1% of the outstanding CP Ships common shares, have accepted the Offer dated August 30, 2005 of Ship Acquisition Inc., an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of TUI, for 100% of the CP Ships shares.

 19.10.05   TUI Offer For CP Ships Successful 
TUI AG and CP Ships Limited jointly announced today that shareholders holding more than 66#% of the outstanding CP Ships shares on a fully-diluted basis have accepted the Offer dated August 30, 2005 of Ship Acquisition Inc., an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of TUI, for 100% of the CP Ships shares.

 17.10.05   All Regulatory Approvals Regarding TUI'S Proposed Acquisition of CP Ships Obtained or Waived 
TUI AG and CP Ships Limited jointly announced today that all regulatory approvals required in connection with TUI's proposed acquisition of CP Ships have either been obtained or the requirement to obtain such approvals prior to expiry of the offer have been waived by TUI.

 12.10.05   EU Approves TUI's Proposed Acquisition of CP Ships China Review Period Expires 
TUI AG and CP Ships Limited jointly announced today that TUI's proposed acquisition of CP Ships has been cleared by the European Union and that the regulatory review period in China has expired.

 07.10.05   TUI extends CP Ships Offer Regulatory approvals obtained in Canada and the U.S. 
TUI AG and CP Ships Limited jointly announced today that TUI has extended its Offer dated August 30, 2005 for 100 per cent of the CP Ships common shares. The Offer is now open for acceptance until 6:00 p.m. (Eastern time) on October 18, 2005, unless further extended or withdrawn.

 21.08.05   CP Ships Accepts Offer for US $2 Billion in Cash 
The CP Ships Limited Board of Directors has unanimously recommended that shareholders accept an offer from TUI AG to acquire CP Ships in an all-cash transaction for US $21.50 per share or about $2.0 billion on a fully diluted basis. Including the assumption of net debt of $0.3 billion at 30th June 2005, the transaction has a total value of $2.3 billion.

CP Ships Limited announced today that the first two of nine 4250 teu ships ordered two years ago will be deployed in its US East Coast-Indian Sub-Continent service.

 15.07.05   CP Ships to Double Frequency of Asia-Australia Service 
CP Ships Limited today announced that one year after launching fortnightly service between Asia and Australia, it plans to double the frequency to weekly through a vessel sharing agreement with Yantai Marine (SYMS).

 07.07.05   Completion of Ontario Securities Commission Investigation 
CP Ships Limited announced today that the investigation by Staff of the Ontario Securities Commission into matters related to the restatement of prior period financial results announced by the Company in August 2004 and into stock trading activities in May and June 2004 by certain officers of the Company has now been completed.

CP Ships today took a key step in the process of re-branding its container shipping services under the CP Ships name by introducing new standards for ship names and livery.

The Board of CP Ships Limited today announced that it intends to appoint Nigel Rich as non-executive Chairman. It also confirmed that Ray Miles will continue to exercise overall executive responsibility as acting Chief Executive Officer until the appointment of a new CEO.

 11.04.05   Canada Maritime Agrees to Montreal-North Europe Container Slot Sale 
CP Ships division Canada Maritime, along with OOCL its long-term partner in the St Lawrence Coordinated Service (SLCS), has agreed to charter a fixed number of container slots to CMA-CGM on one of its Montreal-North Europe services.

 10.02.05   CP Ships Announces Record Quarterly Operating Income 
CP Ships Limited today announced unaudited fourth quarter 2004 operating income of US$ 46 million, up from $36 million in fourth quarter 2003 and up from $41 million in third quarter 2004.

 17.01.05   CP Ships' Lykes Lines Awarded Ten-Year Contract by US Government 
The US Department of Transportation has granted Lykes Lines, a subsidiary of CP Ships, the right to operate five US-flag containerships in its new Maritime Security Program for ten years beginning 1st October 2005.
